ITTF Foundation - Our Mission
We are a not for profit organisation founded by the International Table Tennis Federation in 2018 under German law. We believe in the power of sport to deliver sustainable social change. Our primarily aim is to promote the use of Table Tennis for development and peace.
Table tennis is an ideal sport to attract people of all ages, irrespective of gender, cultural, social background or physical ability. It is a very healthy leisure activity with multiple benefits, both for physical and mental health. At the same time it is fun.

At the ITTF FOUNDATION we use these characteristics, not only to promote our sport and its benefits to a broad and different public, also to foster development through the sport; this means using the sport as a method of attracting more people to play and working with them on different topics to improve their daily life.

International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF)
The International Table Tennis Federation is the global governing body of Table Tennis. Affiliated to six Continental and 226 National Associations, the ITTF coordinates over 100 international events per year and has long been represented at both the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
In accordance with its Strategic Plan, the ITTF is fully committed to growing the sport in five key areas: Organisation & Governance, High Performance & Development, International Events, Promotion and Revenue.

(WTT)
WTT, the commercial and events arm of the ITTF, will be placing players and fans at the core of all its business to catapult table tennis to the forefront of global sports business.

The mission of WTT is to become the global table tennis commercial leader by transforming the table tennis experience and how it is delivered internationally through world-class entertainment events, engaging fan-centric content and enhancements to ensure table tennis will have a profound impact on everyone’s lives worldwide.
